What can I expect from a Bedlam Bunch party?
We’re known for our unique, interactive theatre shows in which the children play an integral part. The kids don’t sit down and watch – they’re on their feet and moving with the story the whole time, meeting characters and travelling from one magical land to another until they reach their goal. Magic, games, clue-solving, puppet characters, singing and dancing are all woven into the journey which ends with balloon-model prizes for all children. Through the creation of imaginary worlds, children are transported to places where anything can happen…. and they keep our characters out of trouble! (Well, somebody has to!)
How do I book a party?
Pick your child’s favourite Bedlam Bunch character (or two, or three!!), then invite them to come along and entertain at his or her very own Bedlam Bunch party! Each character has a different story and will take the children on an unforgettable, interactive, theatrical adventure.
What ages do you entertain?
Typically, we entertain children aged from 3 to 8 years, with certain characters appealing to certain ages. For example, Silly Billy is perfect for toddlers, while Rocket Ron goes down really well with older boys and Sally Spin always gets little ladies on their feet!
Do you do anything else as well as entertainment?
Yes! We can also provide professional face-painters, balloon party decoration and party gift bags with beautiful puppets.
How much does it cost?
One hour’s “walkabout” entertainment starts at £195 and a Bedlam Bunch show starts at £195 with one entertainer. You can add more characters, more time and extra services as you wish! See Party Pricing for more options, including face-painting, balloon decoration and party bags.
How many kids can you entertain at a time?
For our trademark Bedlam Bunch shows, we operate on a strict ratio of 1 entertainer to a maximum of 15 children. If you have more than 15 children attending, you can book 2 or 3 entertainers for a show, or you can choose the “Walkabout” entertainment option instead, which includes balloon-modelling, magic and puppets.
What’s the difference between walkabout entertainment and interactive adventure shows?
Interactive adventure shows can be run with a ratio of 1 entertainer to every 15 children. They include all activities, such as games, magic, music, dance, puppets and balloon-modelling, all woven into the unique, interactive story. **We need a space that’s set aside just for this, without any background noise or activities.**
“Walkabout” entertainment suits environments where there is background noise and other activity going on simultaneously. There is also no maximum number of children per entertainer. We won’t take over or run the party, but we will make a big impression! Activities include balloon-modelling, magic and puppets.
Do you do only birthday parties, or can you do other events?
The Bedlam Bunch Children’s Entertainers can be booked for corporate events, weddings, festivals and school events.
Are you guys DBS checked and insured?
Yes – all Bedlam Bunch Children’s Entertainers and staff are DBS checked and we have Public Liability insurance.
What areas do you cover?
The Bedlam Bunch provides children’s party entertainers mainly in London. Please note that a small travel fee can sometimes apply to areas outside of London tube zones 1-4. We can also provide children’s entertainers in other areas occasionally, such as West Kent, Sussex and Surrey, depending on the date.
